URBAN CHISLIC
One of our very favorite Sioux Falls eateries and we're certain you will add it to your foodie list as well. What exactly is Chislic you may ask? Well this amazing food item, sometimes referred to as chislick, is traditionally made from mutton or lamb and cubed up for bite sized pieces. Essentially, wild game is used and brought to this part of the country during the 1800's by early Russian-German immigrants. These folks have perfected the traditional and widely secret recipes the original farmers brought over - it's without question the best item on the menu which you simply cannot get enough of. When here, the food comes up quickly and super fresh. Service is above and beyond what you may originally expect. Tons of other great items on the menu here which include the Veggie Burgers, traditional Chili, fresh Kettle Chips, Mashed Potatoes, Nacho Appetizer which will fill a bull, and plenty more. It's always nice to order something new off the menu, even if it's a new variation of the mouthe watering Chislic itself. Overall, it's a fun atmosphere and a terrific spot to watch the latest game as well. Bring your family, a date or come solo for some great food and memorable service. South Dakota continues to surprise us in so many ways, and visiting a spot like this just reminds us of how much more there is to see and offer to the culinary world.
