The best sign of a worthwhile diner is if it keep the local crowd coming back night after night, and that is exactly the case with this establishment which we also highly recommend. Be sure to try some of their more in demand items such as the Rabbit, Po' Boy and also their Sherried Turtle Soups which are good to the last drop. It's your typical roadhouse style dive that often has live music and a vibe to match. You can get your fill on traditional Cajun Pub foods here, with their own twist and additions to the menu. Good assortment of beers on tap and the bartenders are always friendly. Usually a rotation of daily specials here which include specialties such as Gumbo, Meatloaf etc. So while you may be tempted to just keep on driving past, that would be a mistake. We also like the unique touches this pub has such as the bar stools which are all differently decorated with random legs as well. It really is a great local hangout and as we mentioned, the weekends are a blast with the live music and fun for all to be had.
