One of the most visited diners on this gorgeous island of Hawaii, we're sure to stop by each time we're fortunate enough to get over there in our travels. The first thing we always suggest our friends try here, is the Tofu Burger as it will change your thinking towards Tofu forever. Heck, if everything tastes like they make this Tofu burger, we'd have it daily in our diet. But, to go all out, go with their one of a kind, Pulled-Pork with Bok Choy Slaw that seems to be on everyone's order when we're here. Well, before we do go any further however, we must share the bad news that we also found out in 2015. These folks have closed their doors and are no longer in business. Sadly, if you weren't of the few fortunate to have experience this spot when it was opened, well that opportunity is forever gone. But to take a look back, Sweet Home Waimanalo was one of a kind and truly shined with their tasty homegrown food for all as they put it. Always supporting local farmers and the freshest of ingredients, the meal experience here was what food should be everywhere. Some other highlights from our memories here include their Kalo Nread Pudding, Kale (and other fresh) Smoothies, the Mushroom Burgers, Hibiscus Tea, Acai bowls, Pulled Pork plate and the Ono pops for Dessert. Again, sadly missed and they will be missed.
