Folks, this is a spot that is not to be missed when in Boise! Perhaps what makes this space pop out against the rest is their story which is quite remarkable. Run but the Shams sisters - Homeyra, Bahar, Narges and Khatera whom are from Afghanistan. Their courageous feel from the Taliban in the 90's and have created their new lives and futures in Idaho. This Bakery and Cafe combination is truly an outstanding location that will put a smile on your face. And don't simply take it from us, as in 2022 they were the semi-finalists of the James Beard Award. They have taken their heritage and culinary experience and brought it to America to share with us all. Of course, we love the pastries here the most but truly all of the menu which often has new additions, shines. Plenty to choose from and some of our favorites include the Dumplings, Amaretto Dragonfruit Cookie, Turkish Coffee, Saffron Green Tea, Nutella Roll, Avocado Toast, Opera Cake Squares and more. Established back in 2019, it's a family run spot that brings back something that most places lack these days and you'll also love the local art decorating the walls.
