The menu really is full of amazing items such as Guy's favorite Jalapeno Pesto Flank Steak Sandwich; however, we also recommend you consider the Mom's Macaroni and Cheese and Buttermilk Pancakes. Yes, they are truly as amazing as they sound and whoever we're with when we come visit Rick & Ann's we make sure it's ordered. First and foremost, we must make you aware that they use local ingredients as everything on the menu is carefully sources and prepared. Rick & Ann's is your typical American Cuisine spot that has all the familiar breakfast, lunch and diner meals we all recognize and love. As they claim, this is a great food destination and we agree. Opening their doors back in November of 1989, they are in their fourth decade of service and have never been stronger. Their mission was to provide dishes that we all grew up with and remind us of our childhood, something that Berkeley was missing at the time. Since then, they have stayed true to that goal and the tremendous local community support has kept them busy from open to close each day. The variety of fresh, locally sourced ingredients make it fun to see the evolving seasonal menu. Plus, can't forget to mention they have a wonderful Vegan menu as well, so all are happy here!
