At Nana Organic, they have made a clear stand apart from the other cafes with their commitment of fresh and pure organic ingredients in their dishes. For example, The Pupusas are here are truly great and some foodies might even say life-changing. Also, the Handmade Shrimp and Oyster Po' Boy is so packed for of Shrimp you might need a fork to pick up the droppings. This bright a lively cafe in one of our favorite cities Chicago, has been perfecting a blend of Mexican with American flavors for years. Come grab your breakfast, lunch or dinner here when nearby. In our experience of visiting the city hundreds of times, this without question is Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood cafe go-to spot. It's also very refreshing to find an authentic family run spot that takes their heritage cuisine, Mexican, and combines it with familiar American fare that we've all grown up with over the years. It's always the spot for something quick and casual yet made with care and served with a smile. We also love the outdoor seating, while it is limited to just a few people, a great grab if you're there early. So much here to nibble on such as the Breakfast Burritos, the Melted Chihuahua Cheese, Avocado Fries, Huevos Rancheros, the French Toast Special, Empanadas, and truly everything else on the menu. We always stand strong behind the farm to table and locally sourced mission statement they follow here and wish others would follow suit. Without question, Nana Organic is the a place to visit when in Chicago, definitely before any typical Deep Dish Pizza ventures.
