MEMPHIS STREET CAFE / UNDERGROUND CAFE
One of the few, rare Cafes that are based underground that we suggest, simply because it's straight A's in our eyes. Again, our preference is always fresh, daily prepared meals and that is what this Southern based list of meals consist of. We loved the Shrimp with Grits and also Banana Bread French Toast for breakfast to name a few things to wet your appetite. As some may still refer to this spot as the Memphis Street Cafe, they owners have renamed it to Underground Cafe which we prefer. It sets the tone and ambience of what it truly is, perfect adaptation if we say ourselves. When they made the name change, they kept all the signature dishes which put them on the map and added a array of new picks that we adore. Small and inviting space, with amazing service and portions that will fill up your tank. Some other favorites of ours here include their Fried Green Tomatoes, Crawfish, Patty Melt, Chicken Club, the amazing Cheese Sauce for their Fries, Oyster Po Boy, Crawfish Chowder, Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms and truly everything here. Quanta amazing spot that is just the right size with perfect service, prices and overall experience.
