MARIE'S ITALIAN SPECIALTIES
Fantastic little hidden gem we came across in this state and of course, they really know how to respect the Italian classical and traditional cuisine to every detail. There really isn't anything that you can go wrong with here but we do suggest a few favorites. This include their Sacred Swine or the now Chatham famous Mac and Cheese, which is layered with fresh Prosciutto, Italian Chicken as well as Marie's Arancini - the signature dish here. Opened up back in 2011, it is with heavy regret we must tell you folks that Marie's Italian Specialties has been closed for good. It's truly is heartbreaking when these fantastic local spots have to shut down and no longer can anyone experience the joy and love of food found here. It was a cute and quaint spot that always treated like a person should be - not just a number served by workers whom didn't care. We can reminiscence about many more amazing food choices here such as their Chicken Marsala, Pork Bracciole Ragu, Eggplant Sandwich, Bruschetta, Drunken Chicken Parmesan and more. We always appreciated the massive portions, good value and excellent quality.
