MARIA'S TACO XPRESS
The state of Texas is known for many things, but one of their truly best kept secrets is the vast array of diners to visit to grab a delicious bite to eat. What makes this one stand out above the rest is their daily handmade range of fresh Tacos as well as Pollo Guisado and Picadillo. In a nutshell, this no-frills diner is a fun and happening place that often has live music and the weekends are not to be passed up. A great mix of Tacos, Alcohol and fun. It can be described as a classic Tex-Mex spot that probably delivers best with it's lunch menu, but to be honest we're not picky and like everything we see on the menu. Other good choices here include their Queso, Chicken Taco Salad, buddha bowl, Breakfast Tacos but it's also all about the service and ambience here too. Not too many worthwhile authentic Mexican spots in Texas in our personal opinion, but this one surely is. And listen, who doesn't enjoy a refreshing, ice cold frozen margarita in the middle of dead summer? Seriously, don't miss the chance to visit here as it will be an dining experience of a lifetime.
