KROKSTROM SCANDINAVIAN COMFORT FOOD
The history of the Krokstrom goes back to the mid 1800's when Anders Gustaf Krokstrom arrived in the USA. Now, with the fourth generation continuing the family tradition of cooking comfort style meals from the homeland in Kansas city. The menu is filled with delicious Swedish heritage style foods and drinks that has kept locals satisfied and visitors alike. They also have a fantastic bar setting that includes many Scandinavian spirits and beers that are worth the try. Helpful staff, nice atmosphere and excellent food - what more can one ask for? One item that continues to stir conversation and is one item we always end on is the egg coffee, you simply have to try it to understand. The presentation is fresh and breathtaking.. you can clearly see that love and attention to detail is at the upmost importance from the kitchen here. From starters to main and especially desserts, you will love everything on the menu and will look forward to your next visit. Try something new or perhaps a heritage platter.. it's all fantastic and a memorable experience for those used to more traditional American cuisine menus. Most definitely worth the visit.
