HILO BAY CAFE
Without any question, while there are many great views from this islands here.. this cafe seriously has the most perfect views you'd think you're looking at a postcard while enjoying some amazing food and drinks. The Hilo Bay Cafe here in Hilo is the definition of New American style comfort foods with a true and purely authentic Pacific Rim twist. Since 2003, these folks have set the standard at the highest levels and continue to lead the way in the culinary scene here. Always fresh and local ingredients are used to create the many amazing items found on the menu - usually caught within hours of preparing. Come here with the intent of experiencing terrific meals, refreshing cocktails and of course taking in the breathtaking, once in a lifetime views. So much to choose from here but some of the standouts continue to be the Duck Duck Demi, the Buttermilk Fried Chicken which is tender and juicily with every bite, the many freshly prepared sushi and maki rolls such as Tekka Maki, the Fish and Chips which is often prepared with local Ono, Mushroom Wellington, Crab Cakes, Poke and the quite unique yet amazingly delicious Quinoa Veggie Burgers. The drinks are too many to list but we promise that you will find something here for everyone's taste.. it's even worthwhile coming just for the views and drinks if you prefer. Service here is very attentive and friendly, a place where you are not rushed and made to feel at ease. Really amazing place so without hesitation we recommend you visit the Hilo Bay Cafe when in Hawaii whether on vacation or for locals. Great spot!
