DRESSEL'S PUBLIC HOUSE

Sometimes we're not in a rush to get our food, as long as the wait is worth it - and this place proves our theory perfectly. Using their time-honored tradition of farm-to-table service, you'll get the freshest most delicious meals of your life. All made from scratch, fresh to order. Before we ramble on and forget, we strongly recommend the Porcheta all day long folks.. it's truly one of a kind. We do have to however also mention that since our original visit nearly a decade ago, Dressel's Public House has been closed since the middle of the pandemic. We all know that restaurants were shattered and many never recovered - these folks appear as one of those casualties. It's truly unfair and we miss them dearly. However, they haven't officially announced that they are permanently closed so we will always hold on to hope for that shining day to come. Since 1980, Dressel's Public House was that genuine neighborhood family spot that was in the second generation. Poet Jon Dressel and wife Barbara made this place such a popular landmark and gathering spot for all. So many great foodie memories such as their Grilled Cheese, French Toast, Pretzels, Fish and Chips with side of Rarebit, Biscuits and Gravy and plenty more. Check them out from time to time.. perhaps they will be open as of reading this review.
