What we love most about this spot is their open char pit! When in Reno, it's one of your best spots to pick up some amazing barbecue that has won many awards and continues to set new standards in the culinary world. Slow smoked BBQ is mouth watering juicy and will have you come back for seconds and thirds. Rotisserie is also off the hook and you'll never grab one of those easy to go roasted chickens from the grocery stores ever again. Owner Ed Ferencik Sr. has been involved in the industry in one way or another for decades. Reno has a bunch of quick spots to eat, buffets and such but if you're looking for a quality, affordable and authentic bbq style lunch then this is the place to be. Service here is always great, quick and attentive. Nice little place where you order from the counter and they'll bring you your plate hot and fresh in a short time. Portions here are truly big so odds are you'll be packing some to go. As any great barbecue spot, the sides here are also worth the visit alone and you'll completely feel like you're in the South. Everything here is seasoned perfectly and the meats always come served out tender and moist. We're hungry just writing about it, come get it!
