BLACKBIRD WOODFIRE
One of our very most favorite cities in all of American (and not just because of the famous television series) is of course, Fargo! North Dakota has many amazing spots to visit but Faro remains to be the biggest tourist destination. One of the reason is the amazing culinary scene which includes one of our favorite spots, the Blackbird Woodfire. Famous for the Tapas (small plates) style of menu items, it's an experience unlike anything quite else in town. The woodfired pizza here is some of the best we've had the pleasure to try and the selection of craft beers and wines are also quite excellent. Conveniently located downtown Fargo, it's the hottest place in town to grab a spectacular meal and matching drinks. Starting off many years ago as simply a Pizza Truck, it has evolved over the years to the establishment we're proud to recommend today. Their woodfire pizza put them on the map and has set the standard many are trying to duplicate, without success of course. Using local ingredients such as North Dakota wheat and milled flour, the handmade pizza dough is the best you'll ever have. Service here is wonderful as it was from the start when they had their mobile kitchen oven. The fun and cozy atmosphere which you'll find here is something others should strive to also achieve. It's not just about the amazing food and drinks, but also the service and care you are shown which eventually brings you back time and time again. Everything here is fresh and delicious and as we eluded to, local at all times to support the local community and farmers. They also have an open kitchen concept so you can witness in your masterpiece being created, from scratch of course.
