The Ace restaurant was originally a Retro-based diner in the 1950's, in this exact location you visit today. It has recently been remodeled and fully restored to provide amazing authentic foods, refreshing drinks and unmatched retro-style atmosphere. The Ace really is a fantastic place to get your comfort food cravings filled, in the heart of this fast paced city of Toronto. At The Ace, they cater to most appetites and our recommendations from recent visits include their Roasted Pork Belly, Christmas Burger and the one and only Mac & Cheese Burgers that are unforgettable. Closed Mondays, open Tuesday through Friday from 6pm and weekends from right before noon. We particularly love their brunch options which often involve daily specials. Again, one aspect we love is that all items and decor have been restored from the original 1955 open space. You truly do travel back in time which is a breath of fresh air in the restaurant atmosphere.
