A local neighborhood favorite, this really simple to remember establishment is one of the most unique diners you'll come across. In essence, you'll find a handful of comfort foods that are based on American culinary passion. Give the Smoked Pork, Carne Adovada or 16-day aged Duck Confit a try if you're hard pressed to try something. The feel and atmosphere here is truly unique. From the metal walls to the colorful stools by the counter.. it's a playful spot that just puts you in a good mood. That's just how it starts of course.. because from the friendly service to the great value, it's a win-win spot that you'll make a regular spot. BUT, once again, we're truly saddened to report that this amazing San Francisco spot has closed it's doors with just a short 16 years under their belt. Reasons stated included that the owner simply had some health issues including severe back problems which truly made it impossible to continue running the establishment. Health it the number one priority and we can appreciate that fact. This fun and quirky spot will surely be missed and while San Francisco has many great spots to eat, none have truly been able to duplicate the magic that Q held. If we have one request for those aiming to open up a similar spot.. be sure to add our personal favorite menu item, the Mac & Cheese with Tator Tots please. Overall.. we're thankful to have visited the spot while it was in service. Best of luck.
