Keep in mind the uncommon BBQ lunch hours of Thursdays through Sundays - but we suggest you make the effort as it's worth every single bite! Start off with their signature BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, or the Brisket dishes. We're also fans of the "Hot Mess" - an amazingly delicious stuffed potato unlike anything you've experience in your life. The Pecan Lodge in Dallas is truly a landmark at this point which draws visitors from across the USA. Plenty of beer and wine to choose from here along with some of the best smoked meats you've ever dreamed of. As they will let you know when you get here, their motto is Where There's Smoke, There's Flavor! Time tested traditions of smoking and BBQ are what makes the menu here such as standout. Plenty of items you've come accustomed to at a barbecue spot, but prepared with care, plenty of slow cooking and presentation that will please everyone. Justin and Diane truly make this place welcoming to all and a place that you can feel like family. If we haven't already mentioned some of the goodness found here, let's go over other goodies such as their Burnt Ends, Beef Ribs, Collard Greens, amazing Combo Plates, Peach Cobblers, side of Mac n Cheese, Cole Slaw and plenty more. The portions here are huge so be sure to come hungry or bring a friend. Prices are more than fair. Be sure to plan ahead as they do tend to get busy and the best selection is at opening of course. One of our very favorite Dallas BBQ spots and you'll thank us when you arrive yourselves.
