JAWAIIAN IRIE JERK
All praise goes straight to Chef Simmonds whom has put together this wonderful menu which tourists and locals have enjoyed since the doors first opened. It's a great blend of the Big Island cuisine with some Jamaican influence thrown in. Be sure to explore the Jamaican Goat Curry as well as the Jerk Chicken Wings if you're in a rush, otherwise take your time through the menu and get the best of what Jawaiian Irie Jerk has to offer for you and your friends. With so many amazing spots to dine at when visiting Hawaii, it's nice to get a taste of other island flavors, specifically Jamaica when here. All quite similar yet distinct at the same time. However, upon a recent visit to the city of Honolulu, we have to share the bad news that this spot is unfortunately closed for business and no longer serving the magical goodness it did for so many years. In 2018 March, this spot closed its doors as it has also been announced the the famous Chef Caswell Simmonds has decided to move back to his home in Jamaica itself. He is starting a resort style business there which will continue to excel in amazing food as well. Many restaurants have had to close in recent years due to many unforeseen factors.
