EVA'S EUROPEAN SWEETS

Not many places can do proper European cooking and baking like the Polish community. That is exactly what this family-run restaurant does day in and day out at Eva's European Sweets. When we came by for a visit we were happy to see and taste many of the traditional favorites such as the Placki Hungarian Style which is essentially potato pancakes with ground beef, various sauces and topped off with fresh sour cream. We love the laid-back, neighborhood friendly style setting nestled in Syracuse of New York. Only the freshest ingredients with everything made in house using time test Polish recipes and traditions which you'll fall in love with. From Polish dishes, desserts and authentic Polish Beer - it's all here waiting for you. Some highlights which we've had the pleasure to devour include their Sweet Cabbage Soup, Cheddar Bacon Pierogis, Potato Pancakes, Golabki, Gnocchi, Funfetti Cakes, Cheesecake with Cherries, Mushroom Croquettes, Carrot Cake, Hungarian Goulash and plenty more. Portions are huge and prices are fair - well worth your time.
