One of the oldest running histories of any diner today, the traditional Prime Rib, Rainbow Trout and Roast Pork are amazing and have been the local favorites since the doors opened up for business. Cash only joint but that's usually a sign of an true old-school restaurant that's been doing it for many years - which in reality equates to an institution in Atlanta. Opened up in the year 1927, it's really been around for so long thanks to the consistent service, quality and ambience. So without question, the most popular and famous must-have item here are the chicken livers, fried. It'll easily fill your plate, and your appetite. The Colonnade is always busy and for good reason too, it's a great place to dine. A great overall spot for Soul Food when in Atlanta and we'd easily compare it to any of the best Soul Food spots in the south. Seriously folks, don't pass this place up.
