Comfort food really does have a place in everyone's heart and has a habit of really letting you take a deep breath, reflect and relax. This classic diner serves up plenty of comfort foods to tug at your heart and keep you coming back for more. Be sure to try the Granny Faye's Meatloaf and Homemade Cornbread on the side. It's your typical Mom and Pop restaurant that are far and few these days unfortunately. Luckily, this one continues to thrive and is available for your dining pleasure any day of the week. Very old-fashioned inside including their menu, but again, it's a perfect menu with something for anyone to enjoy. Very clean, inviting and friendly. The staff always make you feel welcome and the entire process from start to finish is a charming pleasure. You'd think it's home cooking, except you don't have to do the work. Some other standouts here include their tomato soup, grilled chicken salad, West Virginia blackened steak and of course the homemade apple pies. Not even a question whether to come or not, just a matter of when.
