In our honest opinion, this 1950's-era landmark in the heart of San Antonio. It's a rare feat to come across the legendary diners that continue with their original trademark menu items that your parents and grandparents grew up with. If you've ever heard the expression about the "good old days" then this is your prime time opportunity to taste the magic for yourselves. They've even remained the classic retro decor and style including the awesome conic neon signage that glows at night. Far more attractive then those yellow arches you may have come accustomed to. They are fantastic with their Texas Style BBQ, but so much more here is just equally as great that you need to try. As we've mentioned prior, their burgers are off the chain and have won several awards over the past seven decades of service. If you're looking to add a bit of heat to your day then we urge you to try the Spicy Thai Burger and wash it down with any of their homemade Milkshakes which is made the right way, with real cream. Bun 'N' Barrel is a spot you must visit at least once in your lifetimes.
