Opened up in late 2007, this location serves up authentic, traditionally prepared gourmet bratwurst. The German roots and traditions allow for some of the best flavors from Europe to be enjoyed on continental USA. Everything is handmade on site and fresh each day. Juicy and delicious to the last bite, there are many great flavors to choose from. But also take part of the traditional German cuisine which includes their amazing Sauerkraut side, popular Bavarian Tater tots, range of Schnitzels, Cheese Spaetzle, Apple Strudels, their selection of mustards and ketchup sauces, Beers and so much more. If you're not sure where start, then we highly recommend the sampler plate which has a little bit of everything to get you going. But, the burden has fallen on us to report that this very popular Bavarian-style spot has permanently closed their doors and are no longer open for business. It's a shame when we see fast food joints on every intersection of America.. yet amazing and unique spots such as this close down. They truly had a great assortment of meals but we also had a great time just visiting for some drinks. Aside from popular German and other European beers.. they have many others that are local and foreign which you would have enjoyed. The Sherman Oaks area just simply hasn't been the same within the culinary world since they made their exit.. but we are hopefully someone else will step up and open another amazing, unique and authentic European eatery soon.
